As 2008 comes to a close we are hard at work preparing for our 2009 season. The AMA/DMG scenario has been huge news over the past year, with many teams/riders left without knowing where they are going and what the 2009 plan even is. As far as our AMA plans, we are also on the fence. Although there have been some recent press releases, and we have filled out our license renewal paperwork, there is still very little information available about the specifics of the series. We are currently considering a trip to Daytona in March to contest the famed Daytona 200, easily the most popular AMA race in America. We are however, only in the planning stages and are putting together a plan to see if it makes sense. So as it stands right now, Lithium Motorsports' roadrace team will call the CRA series in Minnesota home for 2009, running the entire series and committed to some excellent results there. Heartland Park Topeka has also started their own series and we will be at every one of their events as well. Track Addix has ended their CCS sanctioning and have exited the race series business leaving two of our favorite tracks with no foreseeable events for 2009 at either MAM or Hastings. So in place of those rounds we'll look at the CMRA schedule and see if some Hallet rounds make sense. We'll also do some Midwest CCS racing for contingency earnings when available. So a busy schedule, but not as busy as years past. We will continue to provide support for NESBA events in the Mid Central region as well. For now we're just preparing 2009 race bikes. Preparing to market our used bike inventory of great race platforms, and looking toward the future of what the AMA will be. When we know more, we'll post up. Check back soon!
